Vuelta a Espana

What a shame! I can’t see any Vuelta programmes on Spanish channel TVEinternational yet – currently listings are visible for Sat and Sun so far. TVEI is on a wide range of satellites with show times apparently only published a few days ahead. The official Vuelta site claims it is on TVE, but I don’t see it. Most of the channels listed are pay-TV junk only available to buy in a few small areas.

Eurosport to the rescue! Eurosport International (19e) has Vuelta shows in the late afternoon most days, although it’s at 21:30 CET on Saturday (but still live).

Again, I’ve not spotted coverage on RAI yet, but the listings are late to appear. Is anyone else is covering this race free-to-air? What’s happened? Is Unipublic asking too much money for the rights?
