I hope you managed to see the end of the race! Like you, I'm disappointed by the terrible state of online video. cyclingfans.com do a great service in posting stream links, but few of the subscription services are useful on a TV screen yet.

Before subscribing, I email service providers to check that they work with my internet-TV receiver, or to complain if not. If they say they work, then don't, I'd reclaim the money for being "not fit for purpose" but you have to get them to state that it will work.

Online listings are also terribly fragmented. We try to pull them together (Dave F and Bernie S have been repeatedly fantastic), but it's all a bit of a mess. When things like xmltv have appeared, which could help to unify and automate it all, some TV companies have slapped them down. It's a rather frustrating situation!

Now, they're just going under the red flag in the Basque County, so I'm going to watch that instead...

Many thanks for your perfect direction to this sat, broadcast. I had [as usual] tried
to subscribe to cyclingNews. 30 dollars later [they don't refund BTW] I suffered the
same problem as the last two years - their wretched software will not work with a
very high powered UNIX driven APPLE.
THEY NEVER REFUND, nor even resort to e-mail.

My fault i GUESS ... fortunately I would never have trawled Rai sport
